What to Expect for Your Wisdom Teeth Extraction

Dr. Frank will carefully evaluate your diagnostic images to determine whether your third molars need to be removed, and what risks, if any, the surgery might pose. He’ll review his findings with you to ensure you fully understand his recommendations and feel comfortable with your treatment plan. We’ll review your post-operative care instructions ahead of time and give you a full picture of your healing process.
During
You’ll rest comfortably throughout your procedure with the right sedation for you. We’ll also use an appropriate local anesthetic to ensure a painless experience and successful outcome.
After
You’ll rest in our cozy recovery room, where we’ll provide plenty of gauzes, post-operative instructions, and any necessary prescriptions for antibiotics and pain control. You’ll need someone to drive you home since the effects of your anesthesia will linger after your procedure. We will follow up with you in the days after your wisdom teeth extractions to be sure you’re healing comfortably and answer any other questions you may have.
